Studio Policy Update
Monday, September 12, 2022 by Philip Burns | Uncategorized
Happy fall! Much has gone on over the past few years, but what hasn’t changed is our commitment to people and the arts. We are thrilled to have grown our staff of brilliant teaching artists and we are very thankful for the wonderful students and their families who believe that education in music is something that should be taken seriously.
At the start of the pandemic, we made the decision to loosen our attendance and payment policies as getting through life had become so hard for so many. As we’ve observed the changes in the world and the people who surround us, we believe that we are in a place where we can return to more structure on our studio calendars and our expectations. As a result, we are returning to a semester system. All students will be financially responsible for the specific number of weeks that their teacher is teaching this semester. If you know you have an upcoming conflict, please let your teacher know and make arrangements to switch with another student. If you can’t find another student to swap lesson times with, please let your teacher know so that they can find a time that will work.
Make up lessons are ONLY given for emergencies, sickness, inclement weather, and if your teacher needs to cancel for any reason.
If you have any questions or challenges, please reach out! Above all else, we want to make lessons as helpful, enjoyable and accessible as we can. Thank you for being with us on this journey!
Sincerely,
Phil, Tina, Kate, Chana, Nathan and Harry
COVID-19 UPDATE
Wednesday, September 1, 2021 by Tina Burns | Uncategorized
Dear students and families. As we move into an uncertain fall semester, we are asking that students who have not had the covid-19 vaccine, please take their lessons online. If you are feeling the least bit unwell, please do not come to the studio for your lesson. Thank you! We appreciate your flexibility and patience as we navigate new policies.

Studio Voice Class
Friday, January 8, 2021 by Tina Burns | Uncategorized
Hello friends! Beginning on Tuesday January 12th we will be offering a weekly studio voice class. This is an opportunity for us to come together each week and share the things we have been working on and get feedback from all of the studio voice teachers. It is a time to ask questions about things that we may be struggling with technically and musically and come together in support of one another during this time of isolation, creatively and otherwise. I'm excited to see all of your beautiful faces!
All best and Happy New Year! ~ Tina
