This is just a reminder post about cancellations. If you have a conflict with a lesson time, please give us 48 hours notice so that we can either fill the open time slot or rearrange our schedules for convenience. If you do not let us know ahead of time of your conflict and don't show for your lesson. You will be responsible for the time financially. We know this is a difficult time for everyone and we are here to support you however we can through this pandemic. Casting Call Workshop with Christie!

Good afternoon! Here is the next (unofficial) casting call (a day early! Surprise!). I've attached the call as a PDF. Be sure to read the entire document and refer to my earlier post for questions regarding other nitty gritty details. Instructions for PayPal payment and scheduling your 1:1 will be sent after your (ON TIME) submission has been received. I will be emailing you, so be sure you are checking your email on a regular basis.
A friendly reminder: Each half hour session is $35. Payments will be taken via PayPal. I will donate $10 of every session towards the Burns Go Fund Me page. Please, no late payments, and no "I owe you's." Thank you, kindly.

Dearest students and parents...Thank you for your patience! I had my radiation consult today and will be reaching out about online lessons as soon as I pull myself together. What a crazy time! I have you all on my mind as we all navigate responsible social distancing during this challenging time of uncertainty and apprehension. You are all filled with love and grace and I appreciate you all more than I could ever say.

Masterclass with Christie!

Hi Everyone! This Sunday February 23rd. Christie is giving a masterclass followed by an info session on all things AEA (Actors Equity Association) The masterclass will start at 4:30. We will go until at least 7:00 depending on how many people attend and how long the Q&A goes. If you have to leave at a certain time, you are free to go at anytime. Please don't leave your parents waiting if they have planned to pick you up at a certain time.
This masterclass is FREE to Burns Music Studio members and is $25.00 for non-members. Please feel free to invite friends. We'll see you soon!

Our Upcoming Pre-professional Techniques for the Stage with AEA Actor/Director/Choreographer Christie Robinson will explore the demands of stagecraft, technically from the educational perspective of process. We will work techniques individually in a masterclass setting with music of the students' choosing and as a group, we will work the "Mamma Who Bore Me" Reprise from Spring Awakening.
